X Out Review

Price:$19.95 (3oz), $39.90 (7oz)

Where to Buy: X Out

Pros:
There are 3 ways you can use this product and I mostly only use this product as a mask/body wash. I suffer with mild-moderate bacne and the way I use this is to squeeze one pump out, spread it between my hands and rub it on my back and leave it there for a few minutes and then rinse it off. This product has a grainy type feel to it, very close to the Proactiv cleanser. I feel that using this as a mask/body wash makes it more effective and so far it has definitely reduced the amount of bacne I get. Now, I will only get like one back-pimple every month or two (This isn't completely bacne free but I guess I can't get rid of the bacne completely). I also tried this product on my face when I had lots of pimples on my face but it dried out my face soo much and left my skin sensitive that I just never used it again to see the difference (and I have combination/oily skin that's usually never sensitive).

Cons:
This product may be too strong for some people. A month ago, I accidentally dropped this bottle on the floor and the pump/top came off but I easily attached it back on and it's still working perfectly fine.

Rating: 8/10

Repurchase? Sure. (Not a super exciting repurchase but worth it!)

Notes:

I have the 7oz one and so far this one bottle has lasted me 3 months, I feel like it can even go onto a 4th month.

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Ultra-Light Skin Perfecting Makeup SPF 15

Price: $45
Where: ChanelNordstrom, etc.

Pros:
I found that the best way to apply this foundation is putting a pea to dime sized drop on your fingers and dot it along your face and blend it out afterward. This foundation seriously feels like water. It dries to the most beautiful natural skin look (matte-ish) and you honestly can't tell I have makeup on. I have friends who even ask me if I have makeup on or not. The coverage this foundation gives is light-medium. I actually enjoy a lighter coverage because I am a huge fan of natural looking makeup. I have some acne scars around my mouth area and I have to say, this does not fully cover it. After you put this foundation over the scars, the scars are less noticeable but not invisible (maybe 50% reduction in appearance?) and I actually enjoy this coverage. I go out with just this foundation and no concealer over my scars. I feel like if I were to fully cover my scars, it would look more cakey and not natural so this is exactly the coverage I need. Remember less is more! I don't use primer or set it afterwards and I find it lasts decently well for a whole day for my combination-dry winter skin.

Cons:
If you have dry skin or flakes, this foundation might make your flakes noticeable (as with any foundation) but that's where moisturizer comes in! I personally have oily skin in the summer and combination-dry skin in the winter and the Fall/Winter time is the perfect time for this foundation. I feel like if I were to use this in the summer, it would melt off my face.

Recommend to: Anyone without dry flakes

Rating: 9/10 (Just because I probably can't wear this in the summer but I haven't tried it yet so don't take my word for it!)

Repurchase? YES! (It is so worth it!)

Note:
I have the shade N30 (My MAC shade is NC25) and this is a tadddddd bit darker but it's not noticeable (unless you look reallyyy closely). I don't mind it because then this foundation can be used when I get a tadddd darker.

I got this foundation as a gift for my birthday. This isn't a foundation I would typically purchase on my own. To be completely honest, I don't think I would have ever purchased this foundation with my own money. Even though I am a foundation junkie, I only buy foundations that cost up to $15 and after using this product, I feel like I can never go back to lower end foundations again.
